Getting to Grenoble
Grenoble can easily be reached:
Lyon Saint Exupery airport + shuttle bus (85km) to Grenoble (every hour – 1h trip)
Geneva airport + shuttle bus (140km) to Grenoble (every other hour – 2h30’ trip)
Grenoble airport: the offer of flights and shuttles to downtown is more limited (45' trip)
- by train: Grenoble train station is connected to majors French and european cities very quickly. The high speed train (TGV) connects Paris, Marseille in only 3 hours.

The conference centre is served by tram line B at the ‘cité internationale’ stop approximately every 5 minutes. Line B is direct from the city centre and the train station (take the ‘Oxford’ direction). People arriving from Lyon airport on the Flixbus shuttle bus can get off at the ‘Oxford’ stop and then take tram line B (2 stops) towards ‘Gières-Plaine des sports’. Map of the transport network.
Tickets can be purchased at tram stops using a payment card or coins. Each ticket costs 2 euros, and the price of a card for 10 journeys is 16.7 euros.
